REFLECTION
EXPERIENCE:
Throughout these three tasks, I’ve grown a lot in my typography skills and confidence as a designer. Task 1 was all about learning the basics, and while I struggled to balance structure with creativity, the feedback really helped me improve. By Task 2, I felt more comfortable and had enough time to focus on refining my work. I used grids to create more precise designs and found inspiration from mood boards, which made a big difference in connecting my ideas to the concept. Task 3 was challenging because of the workload, but it was also the most fun. I had a clear vision from the start and loved seeing it come to life, even though it was exhausting. Looking back, I’m proud of how much I’ve improved and how these tasks pushed me to grow both technically and creatively.
OBSERVATION:
In this module, I’ve gained valuable insights into typography and design by reflecting on my own work and learning from others. In Task 1, I struggled with balancing creativity and structure but grew from the feedback I received, which helped me create more cohesive designs. In task 2, I observed others’ work and gained fresh inspiration on refining my own designs. In Task 3, I realized how important it is to have a clear plan from the start, which led to noticeable improvements in my work and fewer corrections. Overall, these observations have shown me how much I’ve grown as a designer, both in skills and confidence.
This typography module taught me the importance of balancing creativity with structure and starting with a clear plan. Feedback and observations helped me improve my layouts, refine my designs, and gain confidence as a designer. Each task showed noticeable growth, from overcoming early challenges to creating more cohesive and polished work.
THANK YOU MR VINOD AND ALL MY LOVELY CLASSMATES!
