MOCK-UP 1
This is one of the mock-up of my artwork,
I used spray painting feature from Photoshop to create the transform effect (turning back to human form)

Besides,
I also try to use wide color palette for the background or foreground element, I will add more gradients or cool hues like blue or purple colors in the distance. This could create a day-to-night transition effect, with the light source slowly fading into a twilight or moonlit glow.
narratives:
The protector of the god in the jungle has end his job everyday and turn back to original form-human form so the magical wind and leaves surround him
MOCK-UP 2
This mock-up uses a bold and dramatic red, orange, and black color palette to emphasize the contrast between destruction and divine presence. The deep black represents the charred remains of the jungle, creating a sense of loss and emptiness. Fiery red and glowing orange shows that the jungle was in burning, but the magical wind shows that protector had protected the jungle successfully.

Narratives:
The jungle god has just fulfilled his duty, protected the jungle. As he shifts back into human form, a magical wind rises, carrying glowing leaves that dance like embers.

Rationales-
I choose Mock-up 1 as the final artwork present, because the color palette is not aggressive compared to Mock-Up 2. Mock-up 1’s colors feel more natural and soothing, creating a sense of harmony and mysterious. The soft transition from day to night, with cool blues and purples, makes the transformation feel calm and almost otherworldly. Unlike Mock-up 2’s bold and intense colors, this version has a gentle, dreamlike glow that fits the peaceful moment of the protector returning to human form. The fading light and swirling magical wind add to the feeling of quiet beauty and completion.
My artwork explores the mystical transformation of a jungle god’s protector as he returns to his human form, surrounded by magical wind and swirling leaves. This transformation symbolizes the cycle of duty and rest, illustrating the connection between the divine and the mortal. The use of papercut aesthetics enhances the storytelling by creating depth and layering, allowing the elements to appear as if they are emerging from the composition.
In designing this piece, I carefully considered color and lighting to emphasize the shift from day to night. The background and foreground employ a wide color palette with gradients and cool hues such as blues and purples, which help create a smooth transition from daylight to twilight. This fading light source adds a sense of time passing and enhances the ethereal mood of the scene.
I utilized key design principles such as contrast, balance, and movement. The interplay between warm and cool tones highlights the protector’s transformation, while layered papercut elements add dimension and depth. The swirling wind and leaves introduce dynamic movement, guiding the viewer’s eye through the piece.
