PROJECT 2B: POSTER DESIGN
Visualize the theme “Equality”
Sketch your mock up poster.
Draft the digital poster based on your sketch
Develop the composition techniques using Digital Photography/ Photo Imaging.
Apply textures & effects if necessary.
Finalize your design with color correction (Adjustment Layer)
Our title of the poster is Equality,
In my poster, I would like to highlight the importance of treating every individual with respect and fairness, regardless of their age, gender, or race.
There are three elements I will use, 'age equality, gender equality, and race equality.'
SKETCHES
I drew simple sketches and kept among elements 'eyes', 'tears', 'sideways', and 'figures' in my digitization
DIGITAL POSTER
I used these images to create my digital poster
Process
By using clipping mask, after I made adjustment layer to make the color more suit to the title
FINAL POSTER
Through this poster, I aim to inspire and inform. I want to encourage humans to stand up for equality in all its forms, challenge discrimination, and be a part of the change towards a more just and equitable world. Together, we can build a society where age, gender, and race are celebrated for their diversity, and equality is the norm for all.
Reflection
Creating a digital poster about equality in Adobe Photoshop was a valuable learning experience. Starting with a sketch, I outlined the key elements and message. Using digital photography and photo imaging, I developed composition techniques by balancing images and text, aligning elements, and creating focal points. Layer management and blending modes were essential for cohesion. Finalizing the design with color correction using adjustment layers enhanced the vibrancy and mood, ensuring the message was impactful. This project reinforced the importance of planning, technical skills, and creative vision in digital design.
