REFLECTION

1. What have I learned in this module?

In this Design Principles module, I learned how balanced design elements like balance, contrast and emphasis composition affect visual storytelling. I also developed a better understanding of color theory snf how different hues influence mood and perception. This can help me make more intentional design choices in future.

2. What did I enjoy the most?

I enjoyed the creative freedom to experiment with different design techniques. Exploring various color combinations and compositions allowed me to push my creativity further. I also observed other classmates' work, which inspired me with more ideas in designing my artwork. 

3. What did I not enjoy the most?

Sometimes, following design principles felt restrictive, and I struggled to maintain originality while adhering to the rules. However, I learned how to merge both effectively, using principles as a foundation rather than a limitation.

4. What have I learned about myself through this module?

Through this module, I realized that I am drawn to color exploration and storytelling in design. My creativity has expanded, and I now pay more attention to how colors interact to create different emotions and atmospheres. This has strengthened my designer identity and design preferences

5. What has changed and what has not in my learning journey?

My approach to design has evolved—I will think more critically about composition, balance, and color choices. However, my passion for design expression and storytelling remains the same. I also feel more confident in applying design principles to create stronger and more visually appealing works.

6. What are my aspirations?

Moving forward, I aspire to refine my design skills further and explore how I can integrate strong visual storytelling with well-balanced compositions. I want to create designs that are not only visually appealing but also meaningful and impactful.
